The Wana Sambo Brand started an editorial in January 2016, called the “Wana Sambo Edit” where the fashion brand collaborated with bloggers and style curators whose style they adore.
These editorials featured people whose styles are similar to the brand aesthetic and every #WSEdit.
#WSEditBloggerEdit consisted of three to four amazing looks worn by these style curators aka #WanaSamboWoman.
However, this month, the brand has switched things up and decided to marry art with fashion in the form of an actress wearing Wana Sambo pieces and showing her fans that: “Movie stars are human too” in the #WSNollywoodEdit.
According to the brand, actress “Adunni Adewale is known as the “White Girl’ of the Nigerian movie industry and as we all know is proud of her Yoruba background. Her talent is highly sort after in the Yoruba and English Nollywood Movies and she’s a proud mom of two boys!
We love her style and how she’s able to balance career and work, for this reason, we decided she was the perfect fit to launch this collaboration; Wana Sambo Nollywood Edit.”
Clothed in separates and pairs, Adunni worked the camera like the star she is and wore each texture and style to perfection. The Adunni Jumpsuit (named after her) is one piece the Wana Sambo Woman must possess.
The Wana Sambo brand is known for our obsession with making pieces that can easily be worn as separates as good as they are worn as a pair and this collection is nothing short of brand’s our ready-to-wear aesthetic and DNA.
Smoke Pipe trousers with Military Pockets, Cold Shoulder blouses and off-shoulder necklines are on full display in this collection and all pieces are timeless and can be worn in years to come should the Wana Sambo Woman keep her form.
The Wana Sambo Woman is Strong, Sexy and Exotic.
