#GlamOfficial | Fashion stylist/blogger, Mayreejay gives style tips for fashion week!

Who else is super excited about  Lagos Fashion and Design Week as much as I am?

From the best of street style fashion to back stage juicy lituations all the way to the amazing shows on the cat walk, there is always so much fabulousity to experience and look forward to.

As a fashion stylist, I know it can be a chore trying to figure out what to pull out from your closet or what to try on for fittings with your stylist or your favorite fashion outlet to fit into the groove of fashion week. If you fall into this category, then have no worries as I serve you my street style and runway style predictions for the 2016 Lagos Fashion and Design Week.

LINGERIE AS OUTER WEAR

This is definitely a trend that has come to stay and will be seen a lot on the runway. You might want to be ahead of the pack seen wearing this hot trend.

DUSTER/KIMONO

What other time is best to bring out your kimono or duster than fashion week? This trend is so versatile and best for layering. We can’t wait to see how designers interpret this hot trend.

VELVET

Glamorous and strokable, velvet is sure going to be one of our favorite looks this season, from the runways to our closets and back on the street style scene.

COLD SHOULDERS AND WIDE LEGS

This is the return of the 90s and we will be seeing a lot of this on the runway in a mix of textures, layers and aesthetics. It is highly recommended as a street style staple.
